Singapore Food Industries Limited (SFI) operates food-related businesses across a wide spectrum in the food industry to meet changing consumer needs. In Singapore, we are the leading importer and distributor of chilled and frozen meats, accounting for 19 per cent of total imports by the third quarter of 2007. Other products that we import include frozen processed meats, seafood products, frozen vegetables and fresh fruits, which are in turn sold into different market segments such as hotels and catering, supermarkets and ship supplies, delivered through our extensive fleet of refrigerated trucks.

Food Distribution

SFI's Food Distribution Pte Ltd is an efficient food logistics supply company that both procures and distributes, utilising one of the largest operating warehouse facility in Singapore, and the biggest fleet of refrigerated delivery vehicles. With extensive network supply chains in Brazil, North America, Europe and Australia, the company sources meats, seafood and other food products. Locally, they are distributed to major supermarket chains, wet markets, hotels, ship chandlers and various government institutions. The company also exports to countries in the Asia Pacific region including Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Brunei, Cambodia and the Maldives.

Singapore Food Industries' Ship Supplies Department offers a comprehensive range of value-added marine services for commercial and naval ships. Our dedicated team of experienced technical marine purchasers, logistics personnel and boarding officers ensures timely, professional and round-the-clock service at competitive prices, fulfilling all the needs of ship owners and ship managers around the globe.

Through the direct import of most products, SFI is able to consistently supply fresh and frozen food that are subjected to strict QA inspections at very competitive prices. We also supply various quality marine items such as engine equipment and spares, and other ship provisions. Our expertise also includes warehousing and transportation services, and the arrangement of agency services, such as husbandry and bunkering.
